Pastry Cook

Cape Cod's only double Forbes Five-Star resort is looking for pastry cooks. This person would be responsible for preparing the highest quality food products for catered events and restaurants according to menu descriptions and direction from the executive pastry chef. The successful candidate should have a passion for baking and pastry creation and the desire to provide warm and gracious service to our guests.

The responsibilities of the pastry chef include:

  • Preparing and executing all menu items according to specifications
  • Inspecting all food items to ensure proper appearance, color, and appeal
  • Ensuring all food items have been cooked sufficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, washing and disinfecting all surfaces and equipment
  • Assisting stewards to ensure cleanliness and efficiency
  • Maintaining the freshness of all food products by using proper storage techniques

Previous experience in a pastry kitchen is required. The ability to work well in a team environment is key to success in this role.
