Bell Person

Cape Cod's only double Forbes Five-Star resort is looking for Bell Persons to complement Guest Reception. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide a warm and sincere welcome to all guests and assist with luggage delivery and pick up. This individual must have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage guests in a gracious and friendly manner. The position requires a knowledge of all the features and amenities and of the resort and attractions and activities the Cape has to offer. The ability to anticipate guests needs and provide memorable experiences are keys to success in this capacity.

The bell person's responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming guests to the resort in a warm and gracious manner
  • Transporting luggage at check in and check out according to resort standards
  • Familiarizing guests with the hotel and its features and amenities
  • Delivering amenities and supplies to guest rooms as requested
  • Assisting guests in locating convenient parking
  • Transporting guests to nearby attractions and activities
  • Transporting guests by golf cart on property
  • Delivering newspapers as requested

The ability to lift 50 pounds is required and experience in a luxury hotel is preferred. The person should enjoy interaction with guests and have the desire to consistently provide superior service.
